Wallet Security
Alphaseek uses an industry-leading multi-party computation (MPC) system with institutional governance requirements and military cybersecurity standards to store digital assets. The majority of clients’ funds are stored in an offline multi-signature cold storage vault. Additionally, every withdrawal on Alphaseek is manually audited before being sent.
Account Security
Two Factor Authentication (2FA) - is an additional layer of security that requires you to enter a verification code as well as your password every time you log in to your online account. The verification code is an additional authentication using a “One-Time Password” or “OTP” generated using a security token or your mobile phone app. Enabling 2FA ensures that you’re the only person who can access your account, even if someone gets ahold of your login credentials.
In order to withdraw funds from Alphaseek, 2FA must be enabled.
SMS Authentication - Allows users to verify their identities with a code that is sent to them via text message. SMS authentication is used for withdrawals, logins and, security modifications.
Suspicious Activity - If our system detects an unusual login attempt on an account, the owner will be immediately notified to take necessary action to prevent unauthorized access.
Withdrawals 24h withdrawal locks are placed if the following security modifications are made:
- 2FA Removal
- SMS Removal
- Password Change
